The Princeton Review has ranked SUNY Oswego as one of 2016 Best in the Northeast colleges and universities in the nation.  We chose these as 'regional best' colleges mainly for their excellent academic programs," said Robert Franek, Princeton Review's senior vice president. Students say " Oswego's "amazing professors" "really care about what you do and want to help you in every way to make sure you do well." The Princeton Review and USA Today continue to name SUNY Oswego one of 150 Best Value Colleges and universities in the nation. In the section titled "Why students love State University of New York-Oswego," those surveyed reported there is a "friendly and helpful" atmosphere on a campus that's devoted to promoting multiculturalism on its "gorgeous" lakeside site.

School of Business ranking

SUNY Oswego's School of Business continues to make the Princeton Review's list of the nation's outstanding MBA-granting schools. "We recommend SUNY Oswego as one of the best institutions a student could attend to earn a business school degree," wrote Robert Franek, Princeton Review's senior vice president. Among the customizable master of business administration programs are health services administration, management, public accounting and a variety of five-year options that combine an MBA with such undergraduate disciplines as broadcasting, psychology and public accounting.

SUNY Oswego's School of Business, accredited by AACSB International-the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, offers bachelor's degree programs in accounting, business administration, finance, human resource management, marketing, operations management and information systems, and risk management and insurance as well as MBA degrees.
