Assistantships
SUNY Oswego offers a limited number of academic assistantships for graduate students, usually available in the second or third semester, based on academic achievement, in their 18-24 month programs. These assistantships may waive the costs of 3 to 6 credit hours, in exchange for project assistance to faculty or staff.
Employment
A limited number of on-campus jobs are available on a first-come, first-served basis each semester. This work may be in dining halls, restaurants, the bakery, computer labs, or in rare circumstances in the library. The rate of pay is $7.25 per hour. Students may work on campus up to 20 hours per week during the academic semester and up to 40 hours per week during the holidays.
