  2. Original bank statement with a bank official’s signature and stamp evidencing sufficient funds for one year AND if supported by a sponsor, a completed SUNY International Student Financial Statement signed and stamped by your sponsor's bank and sponsor.
  3. All non-native English speaking international students must submit either the TOEFL or IELTS score. A minimum TOEFL score of 79 is required; however, our MBA programs require 83. The minimum grade for IELTS is 6.5. Students scoring below this level will need intensive English preparation prior to admission. You can send English proficiency scores directly to SUNY Oswego using the college code 2543.
  4. Two letters of recommendation will be required as part of the application process.
Are you unable to take TOEFL or IELTS due to COVID-19?
If you are unable to take TOEFL or IELTS or another exam currently accepted by SUNY Oswego due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, SUNY Oswego will accept the Duolingo English Test (DET) as proof of your English proficiency. This exam can be taken online from your home. For admission to a Master’s level program, you should achieve at least a score of 105 on the DET in order to meet the minimum language criteria.

You may send application materials via email to isss@oswego.edu, with the exception of official transcripts which must be sent to the following address:

Office of Graduate Studies
