Take your mathematics skills into the classroom. As a student in this program, you will learn the pedagogical skills to expand your talent into a school setting.
America needs STEM

America needs teachers in the STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Math) disciplines. As a graduate of this program, you will be able to enhance math education for students in grades 7-12.

NYSED certification

You will gain real world experience through student teaching experiences, field placement opportunities and coursework that incorporates both mathematics and education. As a graduate of SUNY Oswego's MAT program, you will be eligible for NYSED initial teaching certification.
