Integrated Health Systems
Post-Baccalaureate Advanced Certificate
The Integrated Health Systems certificate focuses on improving users' interaction and communication with health information technology and systems. As health systems change, there is a growing need for professionals who understand how new technology affects patients and medical personnel. In this program, you will deepen your knowledge of information systems, human-computer interaction and communication methods as they apply to health care.
Unique interdisciplinary program

You will gain skills that transcend fields through working with faculty in programs such as Computer Science, Communications Studies and Graphic Design. This program’s curriculum will prepare you for the market, which needs professionals who understand the psychological, cultural and social changes that come along with adopting new technology.

Outside learning opportunities

You will take your learning experience outside the classroom through experiential learning opportunities such as professional internships and student projects. SUNY Oswego’s strong relationships with leading medical agencies including Welch Allyn, MedTech and Upstate Medical Center will provide you with networking opportunities and a chance to use your learned skills outside the classroom.
