Columbus Day Open House
The Open House will include: Admissions presentations, a chance to talk with faculty, student-guided campus tours, select tours of academic facilities and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Career Services, International Education (study abroad) and Experience-Based Education (internships). SUNY Oswego uses an online application system, which requires a valid email address. We recommend you begin the application process at least one month before the application deadline or semester start date.
You can submit an application to the system before all required components are uploaded or completed; however, your application will not be reviewed until the application fee has been paid and all materials have been completed.
Admission is limited to applicants who receive a favorable recommendation for admission from the departmental Admission Committee and is approved by the Dean of Graduate Studies.
Recommendation letters, a purpose statement and a professional resume are required for all programs.

Official scores must be sent to the Graduate Office. SUNY Oswego’s code is 2543.
If you must submit paper transcripts, be sure to have all official transcripts sent in sealed envelopes directly to the Division of Graduate Studies, 606 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126.
Typical delays include the process of receiving recommendation letters, official test scores and official transcripts.
Once an admission decision has been made, you will receive an official letter regarding the decision.
