Academic Outreach Council met on Friday, November 7th. They have not yet elected a chair, but Mary Bennett was elected as recorder and Glenn Graham as FA reporter. The council received updates on summer sessions, summer programs, distance learning and other programs. The council also engaged in a preliminary discussion of its goals for the academic year.

Academic Policies Council met on Friday, November 7th. They approved a proposed Biochemistry major and changes to the Theatre major and minor. The changes in Theatre were tabled for two weeks until APC consults with the Department of Health Promotion and Wellness.
Priorities and Planning Council met Friday, November 7th. They approved the proposed Biochemistry major and changes in the Theater major and minor. They also approved an amended proposal for changes to programs 050/098/137 within the Department of Accounting, Finance and Law.
Student Services and Admissions Committee met on Monday, November 10th. Jim Scharfenburger shared data about student activities. They asked him to gather data in the following two areas:
1) Information about non-academic activities in which students are engaged.
2) Information about students who may be at risk for not having activities that match their interests or needs.
