SUNY Oswego faculty saxophonist Trevor Jorgensen, trumpeter Terry Caviness and pianist Robert Auler explore such influential instrumental composers as Debussy, Desenclos, Fasch and Hummel. Characterized by its youth, brilliant playing and soulful interpretations, the Ariel Quartet has earned a glowing international reputation. The program includes Beethoven's Quartet in F Major, Op. 18, No. 1; Britten's Quartet No. 2; and Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Op. 44.
