Education Club

All candidates (undergraduate and graduate) from every program in the School of Education are encouraged to get involved in the Education Club. Group members cooperatively plan activities that meet your needs, such as informational meetings about program requirements, mock interviews, preparation of interview portfolios and resumes, and social events.

Oswego Technology Education Association

OTEA is designed to give technology education students interesting and enjoyable opportunities for professional development and collaboration with fellow students and faculty. OTEA members assist at the annual Technology Department Fall Conference; and recognize leadership potential though the Clyde Wyant Award. Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society 

If you are a junior, senior, or graduate education major with at least a 3.3 GPA, you will be invited by letter to join Kappa Delta Pi. Throughout the year, group members organize informational meetings about state exams and student teaching issues; book fairs; and other service and social events. Chi Sigma Iota

Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society of professional counseling and for professional counselors. It was established in 1985 through the efforts of leaders in the profession of counseling whose desire was to provide recognition for outstanding achievement as well as outstanding service within the profession. CSI was created for counselors-in training, counselor educators, and professional counselors whose career commitment is to research and service through professional counseling. Faculty Council

Candidates participate on Faculty Council, the governing body for the School of Education. Faculty Council is responsible for program and policy approval, and serves in an advisory role to the Dean.
