Wellness Management (BS)

SUNY Oswego's BS in Wellness Management is designed to prepare students to assume roles as wellness/health promotion professionals in private business and industries, community organizations, and health care facilities. Students will graduate with a foundation in health science/wellness, management, and human behavior; they will acquire skills in needs assessment, program planning, implementation and evaluation. Prior to graduation, students complete at an internship in a work site wellness program.

Note: Majors in Wellness Management must earn grades of C- or better in all courses credited to the major (core, elective, and cognate courses). Students earning less than a C- will be offered advisement intervention before repeating the course. A course may not be taken a third time without departmental approval.
