Teacher Education Program Advisory Board

The Teacher Education Program Advisory Board (TEPAB) has representation from the Department of Curriculum & Instruction and the departments and interdisciplinary groups in the College of Arts & Sciences that contribute to the content majors associated with the childhood and adolescence education programs Anthropology, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Economics, English, History, Linguistics, Mathematics, Modern Languages & Literatures, Political Science, Physics, Sociology, and Women's Studies.

TEPAB is co-chaired by the deans of the School of Education and the College of Arts & Sciences. It makes recommendations to the deans, the provost, and the appropriate departments and groups about issues of common interest to both Arts & Sciences and School of Education faculty. TEPAB also provides coordination for the various program advisory groups (PAGs) organized for each content area in the childhood and adolescence education certification areas English, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, TESOL, and Women's Studies.
