Sociology Club The Oswego Student Sociology Association provides students who are interested in sociology with opportunities to explore the discipline and social organization in the larger society outside of the classroom. Students plan travel to sociology conferences and public events, invite faculty to share their research and engage in a free exchange of ideas, and host coffee hours, study sessions, and provide the sociology department with feedback about the program and life in the college.
Club activities in 2002-2003 include reviewing the department website and literature concerning course and college requirements, rewriting and submitting a new sociology club constitution which passed the Student Senate, discussing the work of Michael Moore, and a trip to the Eastern Sociological Society annual meetings in Philadelphia.
