Visiting Assistant Professor of Human Development
The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego
invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Assistant
Professor position.
Review Date: Review of applications will begin April 23,
2008 and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary: Commensurate with rank and experience
Date of Appointment: August 2008.
Description of Responsibilities: Teaching and research in the area of
adolescent/adult development and gerontology. Ability to teach core courses in
Psychology and Human Development. Departmental service, such as student
advisement or committee work.
Required Qualifications: Outstanding A.B.D. candidates. Primary
criteria include evidence of teaching excellence, a quality research program
(especially involving student participation) and credentials in developmental
psychology.
Other Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Human Development

Description of Department: The department has BA programs in both
Psychology and Human Development with over 500 students and 20 full-time
faculty. The department also supports joint graduate and undergraduate programs
with the School of Business and the Human Computer Interaction program.
