The principal objective of the BA in psychology is to provide students with a major appropriate to the goals of a broad liberal arts education. Students are encouraged to study behavior and experience from the viewpoints of objective research. The basic courses of the BA provide the background required for admission to most graduate programs in psychology or related fields.
