- The generation and physical interpretation of exact solutions of the Einstein’s field equations;
- The application of General Relativity to the study of the structure and evolution of compact objects: white dwarfs, neutron stars, strange stars and black holes;
- The role of scalar fields in the early universe and the formation of boson stars,
- The physics of coupled non-linear oscillating systems.
