COLLEGE ORCHESTRA
Juan F La Manna, director

The Oswego College-Community Orchestra is an exciting and fun ensemble that performs several concerts per year.  Its repertoire includes the Classics and literature from the Romantic Period and 20th Century.  The orchestra also performs original compositions and often collaborates with the College Choir and the Festival Chorus.

Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3:55-5:15 p.m.   Orchestra can be taken for one academic credit each semester, if so desired.  One need not be a music major or minor to perform in this ensemble, as its membership is drawn from every department at the college, as well as from community resources.

The College-Community Orchestra is supported by the Oswego Orchestra Society, a non-profit organization.  The Society has provided scholarship monies for talented string, woodwind and brass players in the orchestra.

For more information call Juan Francisco La Manna, director , at 315-312-2978 or the department office at 315-312-2130.
