The SUNY Oswego Recorder Consort is an ensemble for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass recorders. Started over ten years ago to provide instrumental music for the Renaissance Madrigal Dinner, it now plays a wide selection of pieces from many eras and presents concerts for the campus and the area. Performers include college students and members of the community. For those with limited performance experience, extra lessons are available. The scheduled rehearsal time is 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each Wednesday. The next concert given by the Consort will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection (corner of West Fifth Street and Cayuga Street) This is free and open to the public.
