RECENT EVENTS
FALL 2008
During the Fall 2008 semester, German faculty and students went to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Theater in Stratford, Ontario, to see the performance of Lessing's Emilia Galotti. The Schnitzel House, which is located adjacent to the theater was visited and enjoyed by all.

CAREERS IN LANGUAGE!
This event was held on Wednesday, 22 April 2009
The event featured a panel of three distinguished guest speakers. During these panel discussions and presentations, students learned about the application of foreign language skills to a wide range of careers.

This program turned out to be very informative, practical and fun.
FALL 2009






On Saturday, September 12th, German faculty and students participated in a Folksmarch at Fallbrook, SUNY Oswego.
Volksmarching
Volksmarching (from German Volksmarch meaning “peoples’ march”) is a form of non-competitive fitness walking that developed in Europe. Participants typically walk 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) on an outdoor path.
OKTOBERFEST
On Friday, September 25, 2009 German faculty and students attending the annual Oktoberfest in Syracuse, NY.
