Notes:
1. Successful completion of the minor requires a minimum GPA of 2.0.
2. At least 12 hours of the minor must be taken at Oswego. Students with previous language preparation must substitute 300- or 400-level courses in the language, under advisement, for lower level courses.
3. Students without previous language preparation should note that ML101and ML 102 are prerequisites for the intermediate language courses.
4. A grade of C- or better is required in the following modern language courses when applied to the minor: ML 101, ML 102, ML 201, ML 202, ML 301, ML 302, ML 350, ML 351(and Spa 352, Spa 353 in Spanish)
This requirement would be waived in the event a student made the decision to minor after having received a grade below C- in one of the above courses in the applicable language(s), but also a C- or better in subsequent course(s).
* The Modern Language courses collectively are denoted by ML. For example, ML 101 in French is, Fre 101-Elementary French.
