The Conflict Studies and Management Minor is an interdisciplinary minor at SUNY Oswego. Students may elect to take courses in Communication Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Business, Counseling and Pyschological Services, depending on which concentration they choose.
The Peace Education and Conflict Ethos (PEACE) Institute offers new opportunities at Oswego for people interested in the analysis and resolution of conflict. The Conflict Studies and Management minor is open to all students who may choose one of three concentrations:
- Interpersonal Conflict, with focus on interactions among individuals
- Social Conflict, with emphasis on race, ethnicity, gender, and class relationships
- Transnational Conflict, dealing with states' and organizations' politics.
