Getting to Oswego and around the area

John Hancock International Airport is about 50min south of the city of Oswego. From the airport one can take a Syracuse taxi to Oswego; for a better priced option, call an Oswego taxi (about $65) ahead of time or after arrival at the airport.

We will have a van to pick up conference participants and we ask you to please email us your arrival times so that we can make a schedule for airport pick-up.

The Rochester airport is about 2 hours south-east of Oswego. Car rental counters are available in the baggage claim area.

Renting car counters are also available in the baggage claim area. JHI is a small, easy to walk around airport.

Syracuse quick shopping: If time allows a shopping visit, it is possible to take a taxi to Carousel Mall (only 15min from the airport). Also, the Oswego-Syracuse Centro bus can be taken a few times a day from the city of Oswego to the mall for $5.00. (http://www.centro.org/Spring%202011%20Schedules/246.pdf)
A taxi from the mall to the airport is $24.50.
