Laura Donnelly's poems have appeared in Cider Press Review, Cimarron Review, CutBank, DIAGRAM, Flyway, and Poetry East, among other journals, and she is the author of the chapbook Nocturne - Schumann's Letters (Finishing Line Press, 2010).

Her poetry has been a finalist for the Brittingham and Pollak Prizes, the Orlando Prize, and the St. Lawrence Book Award. A former Editor-in-Chief of the literary journal Third Coast, before coming to Oswego Donnelly taught creative writing and literature classes at Knox College, Western Michigan University, and Purdue University. Her scholarly interests include contemporary poetry, gender and women's studies, and literary publishing.
