The department welcomes Dr. Diana Boyer, new Assistant Professor of Geology, who will begin her tenure-track position in fall 2008! She will teach Historical Geology, Paleontology, Stratigraphy/Sedimentology and Oceanography.

The department welcomes Carl Pierce, new Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology, who will begin in fall 2008! He will teach Geomorphology and Physical Geology.

David Rodland teaches Paleontology, Stratigraphy/Sedimentology, Historical Geology and Oceanography.

Paul Tomascak teaches Mineralogy, Petrology, Geochemistry, GIS, Physical Geology, Geowriting, and Science and Pseudoscience and Fraud. 

David Valentino teaches Structural Geology, Petrology, Field Geology, Geophysics, GIS, Tectonics, Earth's Fury and Physical Geology.
