Campus facilities include new digital color television studios, Final Cut Pro high definition video editing suites, a recording studio, a link to the Central New York's Time-Warner cable access channel and our advanced radio labs. Outside of class you can gain hands-on experience by becoming involved with:

WRVO-FM is a 50,000-watt award-winning National Public Radio affiliate that offers internships in broadcasting, news writing, programming, and fundraising areas.

WNYO-FM is our new music radio station. It is staffed and managed by students.

WTOP-TV is the campus television station. It is staffed and run by students.

The Laker Courant is the E-zine publication of Communication Studies Journalism Program

Print Media Outlet

You can gain valuable hands-on experience in the journalism field by involving yourself with one the Oswegonian. The Oswegonian is the award-winning weekly newspaper written and edited by students. The Oswegonian offers students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the print media. Students are the reporters, the editors, the business personnel, the designers and much more.
