Mr. Canning graduated from Oneida Senior HS in 1979 and immediately served in the US Marine Corps until 1983. He was appointed to SUNY Oswego on Halloween 1983.

Bill serves Communication Studies Dept as video production engineer, overseeing the production studios, editing facility and portable video equipment.
