Broadcasting and Mass Communication

Study the evolving mass media industries including radio, television, cable, film, the Internet and multimedia and gain the skills to write, produce and distribute media messages. Oswego's Broadcasting and Mass Communication program prepares you for the exciting world of media.

Human Communication

Explore the various ways human beings interact and exchange ideas, feelings, and beliefs--including the humanistic,behavioral, and interactional dimensions of communication.

Journalism

Get prepared to gather, write, edit, package and produce news in the information age through a multidisciplinary program. We have courses that introduce you to print, broadcast journalism and online journalism.

Public Relations

Develop a strong foundation in the principles of public relations, plus important skills, such as persuasive writing; graphics; public relations strategies and tactics.
