The Department of Biological Sciences offers additional information on biology courses that includes information about course instructor's, evaluation methods used, and additional information about the course content.

In addition to a year of introductory biology, a semester of genetics, courses from each three broad areas in biology (organismal biology/systematics; ecology/behavior; physiology/cellular biology), and four elective courses. 

The hallmark of the Biology BA degree program at Oswego is Research in Biology (Bio 492): a required upper level research experience in a small class setting, involving lab or field studies or both.
