Talk: 'Moral Transformation and War'
Mark Zelcer of the philosophy department will speak with Jesse Prinz and Brett Litz via Skype. With the support of the National Endowment for the Humanities, SUNY Oswego is simulcasting a series of interactive events, themed "The Experience of War: Moral Transformation, Injury and Repair," in collaboration with Hunter College, CUNY, to create dialogues among veterans, their families, and other members of the community. Hollywood POV Application
Experience the magic of Hollywood First Hand
We are very pleased to learn of your interest in this year's Hollywood P.O.V. Program. Hollywood POV is a great experience for people who want to learn about the inner workings of the entertainment industry. It's also a great way to make contacts for internships and after graduation.
Our 2012-13 program will run from Sunday August 4th through Wednesday August 14th.
Listed below is information regarding the application process.
- Please download and complete the application no later than March 10th, 2013. Return the application to either Professor Granelli or Professor Winslow or return it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
(You may need Adobe Acrobat. Available free as a download). Or, go to www.tinyurl.com/hollywoodpov (you need to be logged into your oswego email account to access this form).
- You will then receive an email stating whether you will be granted an interview with either Steven Granelli or Jane Winslow, and you will be asked to choose from a list of available interview slots. Interviews will take place March 5th -9th and 19th-23rd .
- Accepted students will be notified when final decision on admission has been made. Those accepted students will be required to submit a deposit of $150, payable to "SUNY Oswego". This fee is non-refundable and will be credited to the program fee. Acceptance notification occurs within approximately two weeks of your completed interview.
