The School of Communication, Media and the Arts offers several graduate program options in Art. We also offer a graduate certificate option in Integrated Media in the Communication Studies department. Graduate programs are designed to provide students with the necessary theory and practical applications to succeed in today's competitive environment.

Art Department

The graduate program (MA) in art is tutorial in character, which ensures that there is appropriate flexibility built into the student's program of study. Students maychoose to study in a variety of media. Masters in Teaching (MAT) degree students will take appropriate coursework in the area of study in art in addition to appropriate work in the School of Education.

Communication Studies Department

Facilities

Facilities in art and integrated aedia are excellent. Modern, spacious graphicdesign studios are located in Lanigan Hall. Art spaces, currently in Hewitt, will receive an upgrade in Tyler Hall's fall 2016 reopening. Broadcasting and media studios, also located in Lanigan, use modern digitaland high-definition technology in newly refurbished facilities.
