Enactus

Entrepreneurial Action by University Students

You will not find a student organization at Oswego that will develop your skills like Enactus will.

Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to enable human progress. Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.

Enactus is an international organization with 1,600 active Universities across 37 countries totaling 62,000 plus students. These students contribute over 7,300,000 Project Volunteer Hours, Making Enactus the world's largest and strongest student business organization.

The best way to prepare for the real world is by facing real world challenges today.  The teams will be challenged to recruit new members, develop and implement educational outreach projects, fund their programs, use mass media to publicize their efforts, and then present their accomplishments at the Enactus Regional Competition.  Regional champion teams advance to the Enactus USA National Exposition in Kansas City.

Through this hands-on learning process, students develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills beyond those of most college students.  The best companies recognize the value of this experience.  Every year thousands of Enacuts students begin their careers with Enactus donor companies, including Walmart, KPMG, Unilever, Campbell's, HSBC, Pepsico, Johnson & Johnson, and hundreds of others.  A complete list of corporate sponsors can be found at: http://enactus.org/who-we-are/partners-donors/
