All MBA programs are built upon 21 credit hours of foundation courses, followed by 36 credit hours of core and directed elective study of accepted management skills, concepts, and principles. This program is intended to be equally applicable to private, public, and governmental sectors of management. Upon entrance into the program, each participant will work closely with the MBA Director to develop an individualized study plan.
MBA-Management
A program participant must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Applicants to the program should have a minimum 2.6/4.0 undergraduate G.P.A. and a minimum score of 500 on the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). Each participant must submit parts I and II of the application, two letters of reference, official transcripts and all required examination reports. Online MBA

AbrahamProfessor Human Resources Dr. Abraham received his B.S. degree from Cornell University, his J.D. degree from NYU School of Law, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Appointed in 1997, Dr. Abraham teaches courses in Employment Law, Labor Relations, Human Resource Management and Legal Environment of Business. His research interests include the interrelations between law and employment and the effects of events on firm profitability with event study methodology. |

Dean CrawfordProfessor Accounting Dr. Crawford received his Ph.D. in Accounting (and MS) from the University of Rochester and his BS from SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Crawford's teaching interests include Taxes and Financial Accounting. His research interests include the stock market's reaction to corporate management's signals contained in stock dividends and stock splits, and emerging market financial markets with specific reference to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. |

Huonker Chair, Marketing & Management Department Associate Professor Management Dr. Huonker received his BA and MBA degrees from New York University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Napatsorn JirapornVisiting Assistant Professor Marketing Napatsorn (Pom) Jiraporn received her MBA in Marketing from Virginia Tech, and her ABD (Ph.D. expected 12/10) in Marketing from SUNY Binghamton. Appointed in August 2010, Ms. Jiraporn will be teaching courses in Marketing Principles, Marketing Management and Advertising and Promotion. She has taught as an Instructor for 4 years at SUNY Binghamton and has worked as a Product Planner at Nissan Motor Co. (ASEAN Office) from 2001-04. Her dissertation focuses on "Maintenance vs. Attainment Goals: Influence of Goal Type on Goal Pursuit Behaviors". |

John MacDonaldAssistant Professor Finance & Risk Management Dr. MacDonald received his Ph.D. in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, his MBA from Clarkson University and his BA from the University of Vermont at Burlington. Appointed in 2007, he teaches courses in risk management, insurance and finance. His latest research publication is "An Examination of Underperformance and Liquidity in the German Neuer Markt Initial Public Offerings of High Growth Stocks" (2004) and his latest conference paper is "Seasonality in Various U.S. Stock Indexes" (Fall 2006). Dr. MacDonald also has other working papers in the risk management and insurance field. |

Thomas TribunellaAssociate Professor Accounting Thomas Tribunella earned his PhD at the State University of New York at Albany, MBA at the Rochester Institute of Technology, BBA at Niagara University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. He has been teaching, writing, and consulting for over 20 years. Dr. Tribunella has published over 35 journal articles, case studies, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He has also won four best paper awards at academic conferences. His teaching and research interests are in the field of Accounting Information Systems. |

Hong WanAssistant Professor Finance Dr. Wan has teaching interests in corporate finance and investment. He currently teaches Corporate Finance and Multi-National Financial Management. Prior to joining SUNY Oswego, Dr. Wan has taught Principles of Finance and International Finance at the University of South Florida. Dr. Wan's research interests focus on empirical corporate finance and corporate governance. His research has been accepted for publication in the Review of Financial Studies, and presented at numerous university seminars and regional, national and international academic conferences such as Southern Finance Association, Western Finance Association and Financial Management Association annual meetings. Dr. Wan holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Virginia Tech. He is also a member of American Finance Association, and Financial Management Association. |
