NEW COURSEWORK in HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION
SUNY Oswego announces several new courses in Health Services Administration. They have been developed in support of SUNY Oswego’s ongoing commitment to the communities it serves. The new classes are Health Care Systems, Managerial Epidemiology, Financial Management of Health Care Organizations and Issues in Health Law. These courses, when taken in combination with the MBA, provides a blend of traditional MBA business courses and health administration courses that have been designed to meet the educational and career goals of individuals with a desire to work in management in a health care setting and broaden their understanding of the healthcare environment. For those interested in nursing home administration, a course in Nursing Home Administration has also been developed. Call today for more information!

Princeton Review cites SUNY Oswego School of Business for 9th year
The SUNY Oswego School of Business recently made the Princeton Review’s annual guide to the nation’s top graduate schools of business for the eighth consecutive year. “The Princeton Review Guide to the Best Business Schools” consistently includes SUNY Oswego on its list of leading MBA-granting schools based on small class sizes, professor-student interaction, team activities, knowledgeable faculty and engaged alumni, among other measures. The 2013 edition profiles 296 schools nationally.
The Princeton Review, an education service company not affiliated with Princeton University, surveys only AACSB-certified schools of business. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business challenges its accredited institutions to maintain high standards and to continuously improve.
Deadlines
APPLY FOR GRADUATION
It is the student's responsibility to file an application for the advanced degree and/or certificate. Students may file for graduation online at http://myoswego.oswego.edu/ or obtain forms for this purpose from the Graduate Office. The following schedule will apply:

FILING FOR CANDIDACY
Students are responsible for filing for degree candidacy status once they have completed 12 to 18 hours of coursework at Oswego. Hours in excess of 18 hours are subject to forfeiture. In order to qualify for the awarding of degree candidacy, the student must possess an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Failure to meet candidacy requirements results in termination from the program. For additional information on degree candidacy, refer to the Graduate Catalog under Academic Procedures and Regulations.
