Dr. Friedman received his Ph.D. degree from the Ohio State University and his BA degree from the University of Rochester. He teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Human Resource Management and organizational behavior. Dr. Friedman teaches in Singapore, Japan, and the USA, and has extensive industry experience spanning manufacturing and service sectors with ExxonMobil, Xerox, and Harris Interactive where he served as HR Manager and Director of Training and Development. He has published articles about labor relations, organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction and employee turnover in journals such as Industrial Relations, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. Dr. Friedman is the faculty advisor for the SUNY Oswego Society for Human Resource Management student chapter, and is an honorary inductee into Alpha Sigma Lambda, continuing adult education honor society.
