The accounting program at SUNY Oswego is committed to knowledge and application that helps students to achieve success in their careers. Support from alumni, employers, parents, and friends enables students to pursue a commitment to academic excellence and professional achievement. Your gift to CARE will support high quality research and education for all accounting students seeking to lead richer and fuller careers.
Giving to CARE will:
- Make a material difference- Only 25% of our operating budget comes from New York state tax dollars. For the balance, we rely on support from individuals and organizations that provide the financial basis for an exceptional education.
- Strengthen the college's reputation - Alumni and employer participation helps boost the college's ranking, enhance the reputation of its graduates, and ultimately adds value to the Oswego degree.
- Support AACSB accreditation- For faculty to remain qualified they must engage in continuing professional education as well as publish research and practice orientated papers. These activities require support for seminars, presentations, software, and databases.
Making a Contribution:
A contribution to CARE, no matter the amount, provides the margin of distinction that defines an Oswego accounting education, and gives our students the foundation to become leaders in public, corporate, not-for-profit, and governmental accounting.
