New interdisciplinary programs, national recognitions and important research characterized academic life at Oswego in 2010. First-year students were among the best prepared and most motivated ever. Students' interest in scientific disciplines and advanced study grew as the college employed time-tested as well as new ways to fan the flames of intellectual inquiry — from Oswego's signature Quest symposium to global laboratories on other continents.
