Facilities

SUNY Oswego offers several facilities and programs that provide unique learning experiences and opportunities for students.

The college's Penfield Library hosts more than 2.5 million items as well as a new cozy, cosmopolitan café. Students can showcase their creativity during exhibitions at Tyler Art Gallery. Those interested in nature or biology can appreciate hands-on learning and research among the diverse habitats of Rice Creek Field Station.

Thanks to recent renovations and innovative programs, some buildings on the Oswego campus have become learning laboratories. Johnson Hall, reopened in fall 2003 after renovations, serves as the home sweet home for the First-Year Residential Experience. Hart Hall hosts the Global Living and Learning Center, which focuses on social responsibility, community service and international awareness. Rich Hall, which also reopened in fall 2003 after an extensive renovation, offers a new, state-of-the-art home for the School of Business.
