Happy Thanksgiving. Here's a sight! As falls Niagara, so falls Niagara Falls. A nice quiet Canadian evening. We both had steak (the turkey will be dished out Sunday night). Then, after some winners and losers, we moved to Buffalo. The Sabres beat the Canadiens 3-1. We won free coffee when Syracuse native Tim Connolly scored a goal. Finally, shopping at the mall and the Waterloo outlet center where, Saturday evening, it was quite dead. |

Why should you visit my music page? Because everybody likes some kind of music. Billy Preston passed away today. May his spirit go ‘round in circles. May it fly high like a bird up in the sky. All-around musician, grounded in the gospel tradition, fabulous organist, and underrated vocalist - Billy also was the 5th Beatle. His hits include “Space Race” and “Nothing From Nothing.” Rest in peace my occasional namesake, Billy. You are so beautiful. |
