| Welcome to my WebPage. I have been active in teaching theatre here at Oswego since 1979. Currently I am chair of the Theatre Department. I teach courses in acting, oral interpretation and theatre history. I also direct one mainstage production each year and co-direct the Renaissance Madrigal Banquet. Theatre, for me, is a collaborative effort that combines an interdisciplinary approach to learning, which is tremendously humanizing in its scope, and at its best, an endeavor that engages the whole self in an active approach to learning. Whether it’s researching the world of fairy tales, Shakespeare, contemporary society, Eastern cultures or Classical Greece (to name a few areas) the study of theatre engages us with the Fine and Performing arts, Literature, History, Science and the Social Sciences in challenging ways that creatively illuminate experience and ideas. In this Web Page you’ll find information about my classes, student advisement, Alpha Psi Omega (the honorary dramatics society on campus) and links to the Theatre Department and the ARTSWEGO WebPages. The links for the Cayuga Community College London Program 2006 provide information. |
