This site is dedicated to the SUNY Oswego National Science Foundation (NSF) funded S-STEM and STEP programs.
These programs are designed to increase the number of graduates in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Both programs emphasize scholarships, close mentoring and tutoring and undergrtaduate research both on the Oswego campus and abroad.
NSF S-STEM Program
This program provides scholarships and close mentoring during the first two years of a student's STEM major at SUNY Oswego. In addition students' are offered the opportunity to take part in cutting edge research opportunities both at Oswego and abroad.

NSF STEP Program
This program aims to increase the number of STEM graduates by concentrating on retention. It offers summer bridging programs, extended tutoring and mentoring, math-in-context and early research opportunities.
