Overview of the Economics Department
The economics department at SUNY-Oswego consists of eight full-time and three emeritus faculty members. At the present time, all of these individuals possess Ph.D. degrees in Economics. The economics department has established both a national and an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. The extensive publications of the economics department faculty reflect the diverse mix of research and teaching interests of the department faculty. The department includes a Fulbright scholar, two authors of books dealing with economics, and three faculty who have been invited to serve as visiting scholars in foreign or international programs.
