Applications for admission to Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics are due by March 26. Qualifications for admission to the local chapter include:

• the completion of 12 credits of upper-level economics,
• a 3.0 average overall, and
• a 3.0 average in all economics courses.

The membership fee for Omicron Delta Epsilon is a one-time payment of $30.00. New members receive a membership scroll, a wallet-size version of this scroll, and a one-year subscription to The American Economist, the journal sponsored by Omicron Delta Epsilon. (Note: This is also a useful item to list on your resume.) The next awards ceremony will take place in April 2007.
