Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN
- This site contains information about the programs and studies conducted by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN. It is available in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic formats.
International Monetary Fund
- This site contains information about the current activities of the IMF. Visitors to this site can find out about SDRs and the role of the IMF in facilitating international trade. A listing of IMF publications and working papers in available on this page. Working papers are available in Adobe PDF format. An IMF FAQ (frequently asked questions) file is available on this page.
OECD
- The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development was created after World War II to administer U.S. financial aid under the Marshall Plan. After the Marshall plan funding ended, the OECD continued to exist as an institution designed to encourage economic cooperation among its member nations. Membership in the OECD consists of the major "industrialized democracies." This site contains information on the history of the OECD, its current activities, and statistics on its member nations (some documents require Adobe's PDF viewer). Recent working papers are also available online.
Office of the U.S. Trade Representative
- The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is charged with developing and coordinating trade relationships between the U.S. and foreign countries. This site contains information on the history and current activities of this office.
International Trade Centre - UNCTAD/WTO
- The International Trade Centre is jointly operated by the UN and the World Trade Organization (formerly known as GATT). It is charged with encouraging trade with developing and transition economies.
United Nations
- This site contains information on the U.N.'s activities, commissions, conferences, publications, and databases. These pages are available in English, French, or Spanish.
United States International Trade Commission
- This commission provides information on tariffs and trade practices.
World Bank
- This site contains information about the activities of the World Bank.
