Independent Study for Honors in Economics

 This course is designed for students enrolled in the Honors Program in Economics. In consultation with a primary faculty advisor, students enrolled in this course design a proposal for an independent research project. This proposal must be approved by the primary advisor and two additional faculty readers who possess expertise in the corresponding fields of study. At the end of the semester, the results of the study will be presented in a seminar delivered to the economics department faculty. The final grade will be assigned by the primary advisor in consultation with the additional readers.

Prerequisites: minimum of 15 hours in economics and a cumulative GPA of 3.2.
